Hello i went to download gamepspy from there site.

It came up with a virus on my Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007.

virus name : alaunch[1].cab

This was to start my download.



Anyone having this trouble.

Can,t belive company like gamespy are putting virus in there software.

Its not a virus, its adware they put in the free version to generate some revenue from advertising - if you pay for a version you can get it without :thumb:

I used to use gamespy back when i played Aliens Vs Predators online. That was fun but updateding gamespy took a long time to update on 56k :D

I hated gamespy because it had annoying adware but also took FOREVER to find and join servers. And took up a huge amount of cpu. Aside from that it was great.
