Mr. Hofstee is one of the 5 top IBM people that started work on STI's
CELL processor.


Edit: thanks to Mfa on Beyond3D for the pointer ( he mentioned this in
a thread, but no link was given ).




Edit #2: No Ken Kutaragi in sight for now. He was present in the
January 1999 presentation of the Emotion Engine ( it was not known as
the Emotion Engine yet ) at the IEEE conference. We have CELL, we have
a Sony guy present. Well, we will have to see how far into CELL they
go.
