Full text index search does not work in cache mode

I've found that my Outlook 2003 clients , working in cache mode don't use
the Exchange 2003 indexes for searching.
Users using cache mode, start complaining about the time that the search
operations were taking.

Disabling cache mode, I can get faster searches because it uses the full
text index on the server.

Does anybody knows how to change this in order to use the indexes in cache
mode ?

Cached mode works from a local OST file. I don't think you're going to be
able to do what you want, either use cached mode or discard it if you want
the indexed searching.
