ftp and web server

I have the ftp server up and web server, remote desktop works fine etc etc.
I have IIS installed, I have the proper ports forwarded I:e 3389. I need to
know where do I put the 'main' folder? example and index html, I went to
inet pub ftp root and opened that folder and created two folders one called
upload and one called download.......I also put in custom text for the
header and when I dial up the ftp addy. from my friends house the text comes
up, but no folders can anyone help? Thanx

For Web Files, put them in C:\Inetpub\WWWROOT.
For FTP Files, put them in C:\Inetpub\ftproot

You can also create subfolders on different locations on your hard
drive using the Internet Information Services applet in Administrative
Tools... Right click on default web site / default ftp site and you
can add a virtual directory located elsewhere on your computer.
