My FS4000 images are, as I might have expected, rather grainy.

What's the best way to post-process them to images that print as well
as the d&p shop 5x7s? I imagine this will be grain reduction and some
USM but any experience would be appreciated.

I've had good experience with Kodak's GEM plugin for Photoshop, it's pretty
fast and provides a good trade-off between losing detail and reducing
graininess.

I'd like to put in a mention for Neat Image. I use it on my Mac and
never cease to be impressed by its grain reduction power. If you look
at their website it shows what Neat Image can do in sharpening images
but I've not used that function. I believe you can still download a
free trial, Neat Image is worth a shot.
