Help!

All of a sudden, I cannot open FrontPage Explorer 98 on my
WIndows 98 computer.

I can click and open FrontPAge Editor, but Explorer ...
forget it!

I get a message that reads: You need 32-bit TCP/IP
networking installed to run. Do you want to install it?
I go through the steps, and I have TCP/IP already
installed. Plus, microsoft support said the problem is due
to win.com being in the C:\ drive when it should be in the
C:\windows drive.
Win.com is in the windows drive and I still get the
message!

What can I do? Please help.

Call support again and have them talk you through removing it from C:\.

i dont think you understand. Win.com is already in the
correct root drive (C:\windows). Support's Web site said
if win.com is in C:\ it causes a problem.

The win.com file is where its supposed to be and it still
refuses to open.

What to do now?

Have you installed any communication software, such as those provided by an ISP, etc.?

no, but I did uninstall the drivers and everything for my
Lexmark printer, which also doesn't communicate with the
computer.

It seems the problem happened after I uninstalled my
printer.
