Frontpage shuts down on publishing

Hi all,

after doing some work on my website today FP 2003 suddenly starts to close
when publishing to the remote web site.
I was searching the web earlier and a message came up about a harmful file.
I thought I better do a scan so I performed an Adaware scan which turned up
the usual amount of files to quarantine. So I got rid of these. After this I
got an error message on start up - "hpqthb08.exe Application Error This
application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)" and FP started to
close every time I tried to publish to my server.

I found that this error was related to my HP softward that I had for my
printer/scanner so I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it
corrected the error message, but FP still shut down upon trying to publish.

So trying to fix it I have read some previous posts on this subject and so
far I have done the following:

1) Ran Adaware
2) Ran McAfee virus scan (nothing found)
3) Deleted Temp Internet files
4) Repaired errors in FP from installation disc
5) Ran Office 2003 updates
6) Reinstalled FP from installation disc
7) Recalculated hyperlinks

Does anyone know anything else I should do to resolve this. It appears to
have happended to several users in the past so hopefully there is a fix!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have an HP Printer?
I believe this is an HP process file as it has appeared in the processes
under CTRL/ALT/DEL since I installed one of thier printers.
If so maybe HP can help

Hi all,
finally got it sorted and just thought I'd let you know how. I was missing
some XP updates and after downloading all the latest ones it now works fine
again. I've set these to run automatically now!
Thanks
