Frontpage and Screen Size Please Help

I have designed my website and uploaded to www

I have a bog standard 15inch monitor but when I went and showed my mate the
site on her 17in monitor the website was all messed up on the screen

How do i change the screen sizes so that my site looks great on a screen
sizes??
