Frontpage 2002 Crashes Constantly

We have a standard template for our users to creat pages
to our site.

The problem is, whenever you open more than one page in
Frongpage 2002 and then try to close one page out,
Frontpage will crash. Happens every time. It does not
matter if the administrator is working on a page of not,
it still crashes.

I have sent the report to Microsoft a few hundred times
and I am not even sure if they read them, but this
happens on all 191 web authors computers. Hard to think
it is a configuration problem with that many systems? So,
the only sensable conclusion is the template causes the
crash.

But why on closing and not on opening? What might cause
this?

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files and IE cache
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office
