Front Page 2002 server time out message

I have been working on getting a website back from the web onto my local
machine.

I have it on my local machine but in the process the server extensions out
on the website upload area become corrupted. Working with the support help
from the website provider they suggested that I remove all files with an ftp
program and then reload the server extensions and upload my site with
FrontPage.

Well it sounded good. Now my stats on the local and the lack of stats on
the web I believe are giving me a time out message when I try to publish the
website up.

I am SSSOOOOOOO Lost and have no site up now, but a great looking site local.

What a switch.... I was better off with no local site.

Any insite into how to address this would really be appreciated!

If you published your stats from the remote to local, mark them as Do Not
Publish before Publishing back up to the server.

Rob,

There is a folder up on the web "stats".... but nothing in it..... This is
why I cannot understand why the file times out?

Is it the stats at all???

I am totally in the dark here!!

LOST in Front Page!!

I have now uploaded every file but the stats file. I uploaded each file
individually. The website does not have the shared borders page setup.

There is no header, left side, or bottom for the items listed. There seems
to be diffuculty with a file browserref???

How can I make this website whole??

Please Help... 1 1/2 days and still fighting Front Page!

The website must be published as a whole, not by individual pages.
Make the stats folder a subweb on both your local and remote sites
(right click on the folder in FrontPage and choose Convert to Web.
Then File->Publish Site (Web), use Publish Properties to make sure
subwebs are not published, and publish all pages.
