from windowsxp home edition to nt 4.0

my computer went from windows xp home edition version
2002 to nt 4.0 , How did this happen? and how do i change
it back?

What? Have you upgraded from NT 4.0 to XP Home? Is your desktop the NT 4.0
or Windows XP desktop?
