Hi rshumate,
If you have Nero-6 just click the 3rd Icons "Photo & Video" and choose
Make Video CD or SVCD, etc. Then choose Add Video Files and find your
Folder that stored your movie .wmv and click it. Load a blank CD and continue to click Next buttons. I would suggest to put a check
mark for
Auto Shut-Off of PC when done burning and go to sleep.
Hope this help,
Rino

Rshumate, You could switch-off your monitor before going to sleep. What burning software you got there? Rino

uhmm . . . do you have 2 Hard drive? Try click Tools / Options / General tab / Browse button and look for a big hard drive space to
store your movie. Put everything (movie clips, still images & graphics done by other programs) into one folder and DO NOT move them
but you should try to move only one still image if you got one for making nice Title then you'll believe me. Learning the hard way
is the best way to acquired knowledge's. Rino

You use the Other settings in MM2 when saving your movie, and choose DV-AVI option.

Once the movie is saved as a DV-AVI file, you need to use other software to create the DVD.... see the DVD section of my website for some of the software being used.

Seems like you want to save it to your hard drive first, not directly to a
CD.... then use the saved file with your other software.

Is it just the audio you're trying to put on a music CD.... or a video with
sound?

Hello there,
"Sometimes" this is due to the type of file you are using as source files. If
you have any MP3 or JPeg files changing them to WAV or BMP respectivly will
solve the problem for you.

Hello there,

To create a file larger than 4GB your hard drive must be formatted using the
NTFS system not the FAT32 system.

Hi PapaJohn and John Kelly,

Thank You very much for helping me understand my problem.

If I follow PapaJohn instructions to change a FAT or FAT32 drive to NTFS, use Start > Help and Support > Search for 'NTFS' >
Select 'Convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt' > follow the instructions, my question is; I have 2 Hard drive of 2
volume each. Can I just select my biggest volume which contained several Folders of movies files and I could immediately convert
to NTFS without affecting all my movies files? Regards, ---Rino

The Problem Solving > Checklist page of my site has info about changing to an NTFS drive. It's about 1/3 of the way down the
page, in the Computer and MM2 Limitations section.

The limit for NTFS is so big that it in essence you won't have a limitation.... I'd guess that just about all making DVDs use
NTFS. I've changed most of mine over to it with do problems experienced during or from it. I don't know of any disadvantage.
