frequent error message

every time I start up my computer (if I can get it to start up with out
taking a century)I get the following error message

"the procedure entry point Get Process Image File Name W counld not be
located in the dymanic link library PSAPI.DLL" I tried to look it up here
but I couldn't find it. what does this mean?

Something that is autostarting in your system is calling psapi.dll, and
finding the wrong version. About the only way you can find that, without
reinstalling XP from the setup disk (accepting a 'repair' install), is to
run an app like Autoruns, to help you delete the startup entry.
