Freezing Panes

Hello,

I need a way to freeze two panes simultaniously in my spreadheet. On
the top, I would freeze one pane containing the category, description,
material and labor columns and on the far bottom I would freeze the panes
describing the total costs and other information. The middle of the worksheet
would serve for me to insert the data and scroll up and down. I would
apreciate it very much if anyone has any suggestions.

Thank you,

Thanks Frank,

That tool would make my life much better, however we can't win them all.
Thanks a lot for your post.

Maybe you could have two windows open to the same worksheet.

Window|New Window
Window|arrange|horizontal

Set them up the way you like.

Notice that the title bar now has a window counter appended to the workbook
name.

book1.xls:1
or
book1.xls:2

When you're tired of these multiple windows, select the one you want to get rid
of and hit ctrl-w to close it.
