Free websites?

If any of you know of any sites that will let you set up a website for free would you please list them here.

I ask as a friend of mine wants to know. I've seen peeps post links before but as I haven't been personally interested I've never made a note of them.

I have used Wix in the past, pretty easy to use, no real need for massive programming skills, The downside is you are limited to the templates they provide, although they can be customised quite a lot.

Another one I have used in the past is JAlbum, pretty decent if you just want to make an online photo album for folks to see, very easy to use and hundreds of templates to choose from.

I have used somee.com when I have needed a free site for asp.net (they have ads) and I have also used host-ed.net for php (no ads). I find both providers to be very good.
