Free program to log all computer/internet activity.

Jeff

I am looking for a free functional program that will log all computer and/or
internet activity. It does not have to be one of those secret hidden type
programs as I wont be using it to spy on people using the computers in my
house but rather to maintain a log of all the sites I have hit, it doesnt
even need chat log capability as I dont use chat programs anyway, but if it
does not a problem. Thanks, Jeff

If you're just interested in a list of the sites you have visited,
would your brwoser history suffice (with whatever expiration period is
appropriate)?

Actually what I meant (Sorry if I didnt make it clear enough) was something
that will create a log file, it doesnt have to particularly be for Webpages.
I like to keep the browser History/Cache clean but would like to be able to
look back at the log 1 or 2 years down the road. Your right though, thats
probably something I could set up without specialized software.

KGB Free Key Logger
http://www.refog.com/free-keylogger/key-logger.html
Free KGB Key Logger is a program intercepting keystrokes (that is, a
key logger). Both ordinary users and professionals engaged in IT
security often use this software.

The program is so popular due to the fact that it logs not only
keystrokes, but also characters specific for particular
languages (for example, umlauts), the date and time when some
particular window was opened and even its caption.

So, the program has two very useful features combined in it - it logs
everything that is typed making sure that this data is not lost in case
of a computer crash and it monitors and saves the entire keyboard
activities. This last feature makes it possible for you to see what
your children do with your home computer and to prevent the people
working at your company from inappropriate use of your office computers
without violating the privacy.
