free form filler besides Roboform

Roboform is free for 30 days. Then it begins to nag you to buy Roboform
Pro and limits you to 10 passwords. Actually I don't really care about
the password function but need the form filler function more. Is there
a free form filler software available? Thanks.

You could get an older version of Roboform with more functionality and
less nagging here http://tucows.so-net.com.hk/files5/AiRoboForm.exe
or better yet, get Firefox.

I have firefox and do not see *anything* remotely similar to Roboform on
it. Is it an extension that I need to download? I would love to keep
using Firefox, but this deficiency is pushing me back to an IE Shell.

Tools->Options->Privacy->Saved Form Information->tick "Save information
I enter..."

And there is an extension that can be downloaded called "Autofill" which
is for automatically filling out HTML forms.

Also, Tools > Options > Privacy > Saved Passwords; with option to
remember passwords, and also to set a master password.

So, out of the box, Firefox does all that Roboform does (except nag),
does it not?
