FPSE 2002 conflict with ASP

Hello to everyone,

i used win98 + PWS+ FP 2000 server extensions as a testing platform for my
ASP websites and everything was ok.
However, after upgrading to win2000 professional (IIS 5) and installing
FrontPage server extensions 2002 i have the following problem.
When i publish a website(PURE HTML) to http://localhost/mywebsite i can
browse it.
However when i publish an ASP web site i CAN'T BROWSE (OPEN) it.
I would like to point out that i have created these ASP websites with
FrontPage 2000 and i used the database results wizard feature.

Any help would be appreciated

hi,
i mean that when the publishing procedure completes successfully i click on
the FrontPage link <<click here to view your published website>>.
But nothing happens.Internet Explorer doesn't open my website (index.asp).It
hangs up

Is index.asp set at the first default document for the web site under IIS
MMC?

Internet Explorer hangs up.
I see the following message on the status bar.<<Web Site found.Waiting for
reply...>>. And i'm seeing this message for ever...The web doesn't open

i can access only PURE HTML web sites.
I can also access newly created ASP websites provided that have been created
with FP2002.
I can't access my old ASP web sites created with FP2000 and tested
successfully on PWS

thanks for your response.
i have tried but didn't work.
After trying to fix the problem unsuccessfully i concluded that
when someone creates an ASP website with FP2000 and DatabaseResults Wizard
it works under PWS with FP2000 extensions installed.
However after migrating to Windows 2000 Professional with IIS 5 and FP2002
server extensions installed the web sites doesn't work anymore.
Probably, i have to recreate all these ASP websites with DATABASE INTERFACE
WIZARD.
Am i wrong?
Any suggestion would be very much appreciated.
It would save time.
