fp2003 and XP (swedish)

Andrew Lloyd

Hi!

I just installed FP2003 on my XP system, but I cannot use the program.
When I try to it will display a error message and then terminate. The
message is in swedish (I run swedish OS as well) but I'll try to translate:
"Microsoft Office FrontPage is not installed for the current user. Run the
installation again if you wish to install the program."

The thing is that I did install as this user.....
Any ideas what's wrong? All help needed.

Thanks,
Anders

Can you try re-installing it or applying any / all updates to Frontpage to
see if that helps?

You may have to install it as the Administrator of the machine

I have tried to re-install and I applied all available updates but the
problem remains.
Are there any FP specific update I need? the updates I installed are Office
2003 updates.

Is the user account that you installed it under, also an admin account?

Is this a full or an upgrade version of FP

Ok, suggest you contact MS Product Support for your country.

OK, I suspect there is some registry key that is either missing or has a
wrongful value.
Even if I re-install, the problem persists.
