FP2002 site: Incorrect Fonts when viewing with Linux

My site www.serenitycomputing.com uses sans-serif fonts, and works OK
with all Windows browsers.

When It is viewed using Linux (Firefox browser) it uses the default
browser font (serif) rather than the one specified by the page
(Arial/Helvetica).

The browser does not seem to b at fault, other pages/sites display
default fonts fine.

I am fairly new at this, and rely on the WYSIWG editor, so it may be
something obvious, but I could use a little help from all you
experienced hands... (I didn't say OLD).

Edit Search and replace to change "Arial" to "Arial, sans-serif"

You obviously don't have the font you want installed.

Are you suggesting the OP doesn't have an Arial font installed? Doesn't
that seem highly unlikely?

Thanks all, it was the "Arial", Not "Arial, sans-serif" that was doing
it. Once I went through and specified the sans-serif everywhere, it
worked. In many places I had not specified a default page font at all,
and it went to the browser default. In Linux, the browser defaults to a
Serif font.

Sloppy work on my part, undetected because the Windows browsers default
to a sans-serif font.

Maybe it wasn't so obvious, and if it's not the answer to the question
.....well it was only a suggestion. It's an often-discussed issue here.

Yes, maybe the user doesn't have it. Or, even though the OP might have it
installed that doesn't suggest any other user will have (whether a common
font or not, some users might delete all fonts except ones absolutely
necessary to cut down on system resource usage - after all fonts are loaded
into memory are they not)?
