Hi. I tried to cut text from a Word doc file, then paste into a FP2000 web
page. Even if I select this text, then set the fonts to (default), normal,
normal size, the html code is still full of:

<p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"><b
style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><span
style="font-size:10.0pt;font-weight:bold;mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Sales
Personnel<br></span></b>

I could paste my text into notepad, then copy it back into the clipboard.
But then I'd lose ALL my formatting. Question. Is there any way to strip
just the class and span stuff? Any advice would be greatly
appreciated...Dennis

Dennis,

MS had a utility that would strip the Office stuff out. However I don't have the URL nor do I remember the name of utility. I would
just do search for Office Round-tripping and see if that finds it.

Thanks. http://sbrenjoy.bizland.com/frontpage/word.htm described the
problem in detail. After playing around, I figured out that saving the word
doc file as a word-rtf file and opening the word-rtf with FrontPage gave the
best results. It stripped the garbage but left in the mailto:
hyperlinks...Dennis
