FP Stops responding when I try to "publish".....

Hey Everyone,

I'm running FP 2002 on a P4 with 512 mb ram and plenty of
hd space - all my other apps are working fine. I haven't
made any changes to the system.

When I try to publish a site (a site I've published
before with no problems) I get prompted for my password
for that domain and then NOTHING happens. No error
messages, no file transfer, etc. At that point FP stops
responding and I have to either "x" out of it or use the
task manager to manually stop the process.

I've tried re-installing it, and repairing the
installation as well.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

jim buyens--

did you see my thread below about "View Yr Remote Website" (search for
that)? For some reason, running FP2003 on XP Home, everything seems to work
but the "View Your Remote Website" link--after I publish, I punch the link
and nothing happens.

This started after I installed SP2, and after I installed and then
uninstalled, an Office 2003 version of Outlook (I'm actually running FP 2003
but the Word and Excel version I use is 2000, cause I got tired of having to
call up and reavtivate everytime I changed machines, etc.

I have already:
Downloaded and installed all FP2003 updates.
Uninstalled and reinstalled FP2003 from orig disk

Thanks--

I really don't have a surefire solution for this, but the last thing I
suggested was making sure that the published site is in the IE Trusted
Sites list, and temporarily disabling all pop-up blockers to see if
that makes a difference.

(The pop-up blocker might be thinking that FrontPage is "popping up"
published site.)
