FP 2000 - Can't Publish - New Problem

I have been using FrontPage 2000 to publish to my personal website for
over a year. Suddenly I can't publish anymore. Using an ISP server
with FP extensions installed. OS Windows XP Pro. Toshiba 5000 cable
modem/router. ZoneAlarm Pro. Norton Anti-Virus.

When I try to publish, I get an error message, "Server error:
authoring is disabled for this server. Use the server administrator
to enable authoring." I have spent quite a bit of time with the ISP
technicians who have checked their system for problems, and cannot
offer a solution other than the problem must be within FrontPage.
They have no trouble accessing the web site at their end. I have
attempted to publish the same site with two, different computers and
get the same error message.

Would these 2 computers be behind a firewall by any chance?

Yes, ZoneAlarm is a firewall. The Toshiba cable modem/router also
contains a firewall as do most routers. I have tried turning off
ZoneAlarm and Norton Anti-Virus, but can't turn off the Toshiba router
or I would not be able to access the Internet.

Note that all of these systems have been in place when I was able to
publish. Don't know what has changed. The other factor of note is
that my backup computer, which has not been used for FP publishing for
many months, gets the same error. The only things I can think of that
have changed on both computers in that time frame are the many
Microsoft security updates for XP.

In trying to follow KB324843, Checking FrontPage Server Extensions, I
don't under stand the instructions. How do I interpret the entry,
"Host_Name"? I don't know how to enter that. Also, "Page_Name".
Same question.
