Found New Hardware Wizard Loop

Hi,

I have reinstalled my HP DeskJet 710 printer on my computer and for an
unknowned reason, the Found New Hardware Wizard keeps popping up every time I
start my PC. It loops after I click “Finishâ€, even if I complete the
installation using the “Recommended†install or “Manual†install.

How can I fix this problem ?

Is it true that if the problem occurs because of a USB connected printer (HP D7360) that the removal of LPTENUM has no effect?
(I read this on another web site posting.)

Hi,

Sorry. I can't help you with this. My printer uses a parrallel port and this
problem has been resolved for a while.
