Found A New Hardware!

About a fortnight back, I installed a new LAN card in my Windows 2000
Professional machine & even configured it correctly but since then
whenever I start my machine, Windows says "Found New Hardware" & starts
with the "Found New Hardware" wizard. How do I get rid of it
permanently?

I just posted a message very similar to yours. If anyone replies, could you
please notify me as well? I will attempt to follow your thread as well.
By the way, do you keep this machine up to date with updates? And, is the
new card Realtek based?
