Forwarded email rule

How do I prevent a forwarded email from appearing in my sent items folder? I
auto-forward email to another account on my mobile phone. After the email is
forwarded all the forwarded email then accumulates in my sent items folder.
I want to save only items that I manually send to others in my sent items
folder and prevent auto-forwarded email from being saved in the sent items
folder. I would like to do this automatically since manually running a rule
on the sent items folder is time consuming.

I just checked and when I forward messages manually, the option to save
copies is not enabled, although it is when I send a new message or reply to
one. How are you doing the autoforwarding?

With this rule:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
where my name is in the To or Cc box
and sent to "(e-mail address removed)"
forward it to "(e-mail address removed)"

Everything gets sent to my mobile account (spam and all), but that's another
issue I'll address separately. Then all the forwarded email is saved to the
Sent Items folder (which is what I'm trying to prevent).
