formula problem

Can you help me figure out a Excel formula? I am trying to make a time card
for my boss. With 4 fields. Time-in | Time-Out | Break | Total: My formula
reads =(E11+F11)-(G11)*24 It should give me 8 hours worked. What am I
doing wrong?

First, you probably want:
=(E11+F11-G11)*24

Second, make sure the cell is formatted as General, or a number.

In future posts, it will help a lot if you tell us what you're getting from
the formula, in addition to what you want.
