Forms Issue #2 in 2007

I e-mail out Input Forms to many people so they can fill in the blanks and
return them by e-mail back to me. Because most of my clients are NOT 2007
users, the Form I send out is in 97-03 format.

One of the reasons I decided to collect info this way is so I could copy and
paste the data from input fields right into my Excel databases cells .... a
time saver.

When I hi-light and copy the input data, not only is the data in the field
copied to Excel but the Legacy Tools input field type is copied as well.
Excel doesn't know what to do with that data cell in a sort, etc., when I do
a straight Paste.
It seems I have to do a Paste Special and select Text option for Excel to
know what to do with. Am I interpreting and fixing the issue correctly?

But here's the real problem. If I try to copy and paste the data in the
Legacy tool field from my Form to another Word doc, there is no Paste Special
command. So everything gets copied. If I try and remove the Legacy tool
from the Form first, the data goes bye-bye. So, how can I copy and paste
ONLY the data that is in the Legacy Tool input field without copying the
Legacy Tool into another Word doc?

Thanks ..... Rick

Thanks .... Rick
