Form Toolbar in Word 2007

When I used the forms toolbar in Word 2000, I was able to turn off the forms
when I needed to change or insert information in my form document. How do I
turn off the form toolbar in 2007? Also, when I am in the form that was
created in 2004, the icons in the Controls group are gray and aren't active
icons. What should I do to use the icons?

To work with form fields in Word 2007, display the Developer tab, and then
click the Legacy Tools button.

To display the Developer tab: Office button | Word Options, Popular
category: "Show Developer tab in the Ribbon."
