Form Properties - Windows Server

Hi - Most of my very limited experience has been on Unix servers. I posted
my first website to a Windows server using FP2000. I was able to get my form
properties set up by editing online, and everything worked fine. Then, when
I published a small update to the page containing the form - no
modifications to the form itself - all of the form properties were lost and
I had to go in and set them up again. Unfortunately, it was a week later
before I realized it. Is that normal, something I did wrong, a server
problem? Thanks for your help.

How are you publishing, via http or ftp ?

Thanks for hte quick response! I'm using the FP publish function to publish
http. That's all I've ever used. Is there a better way?

No, that is best way.

After you made the change online, did you publish a copy back to your PC? If not then you overwrote
the copy on the server that you had corrected when you published your changes.

No, I didn't. When I modified the form properties online, I assumed (yeah, I
know) I was changing a server setting, not a web property. Thanks very much
for your help.
