Form Macro

Hi All
I have created a macro to goTo the next new record on a form but when I open
the form it still shows the first record.
Does the macro have to be assigned to the form similar to Excel ??
I am using Access 2000
Any assistance would be appreciated

Hey All
I sorted my own problem by putting in an Autoexec macro and it works fine !!
Thanks anyway.
