form cache corruptions

Will I get corruption to the forms cache if I publish to both the
outlook default contacts folder and the personal forms library?

In the microsoft site they recommend this, but I've seen some comments
on cache corruption.

Publish the Form to a Folder
If a form is published to either the Personal Forms Library or the
Organizational Form Library, you may want to consider publishing a form
to a folder so that it appears on the Actions menu. However, if the
form is updated, be sure that the form is re-deployed so that you do
not create problems with the Outlook forms cache. For additional

I can't find any recommendation in the artikle. As a mater of fact you
should avoid publishing
a Form in 2 different locations at all.

My suggestion is:
If youre using the form only in one folder you can publish it there.
If youre using the form in more than one folder you should use the
organisational forms library.

However this will only make your cache getting less often corrupt. Since the
forms cache has
never work correctly, works not correctly and will never work correctly.

(Look at OL2003 and you will notice, that things are even getting worser)

Possibly yes, depending on the version of Outlook. How will the form be
launched and used?

The form will be launch via a VB-Com adding. A new tool bar is adde
and a button "New xxx Contact" may be used to create the new custo
contact.

OR, the user has the ability through another menu command to conver
the old ipm.contacts to the new ipm.contacts.xxx.

Our contacts are saved just like outlooks, so then the user may clic
one of our contacts and open it up for use.

We are currently beta testing this solution and haven't seen an
problems but I keep seeing warning signs from this forum.

Again, the behavior really depends on the Outlook version. You might be best
off publishing only to the Personal Forms library, which would make the form
usable in all contacts folders.
