Forgotton password

I have a Hewlett packard pentium II laptop that I have not
used in a while. (8 months to be exact) I forgot the
password i put in I need to know is their a way to override
I have tried some of everything .

Is this a Windows 2000 computer? If so, You may need to reinstall if you
cannot remember the passwords. If you know the password for any account with
administrator privileges you can log on with that and reset the other
