For Us Newbies with databases

For those of us learning and fiddling with ADO X databases ( not SQL Express
/ Other ) I have found a
pretty good reference website.
It would have saved me a lot of time earlier in my learning process on how
to manipulate db's thru code.
I was running around knowing what I wanted to do, but not knowing what I was
really searching for.

Miro,

Yes a nice website with very much information.

As advice for newbie's, however: don't use any classic ADO in Net if there
are ADONET solutions.

The only thing I know you cannot do with ADONET what you can do with ADO is
to create initial Jet (access) files.

Sip,

Why are you using McAfee as reference, in my idea you can give that advice
yourself. They have not alone the authority to do that, they have as well
heard that from somebody else. Therefore in my idea you can simply write "I
advice you".

Just my thought that came in my mind reading your message.
