Footers

I am printing a document where I have created a footer in a shaped box and
filled it with color and a page number. When I am in the document I can
visually see the footer and page number, but when I go to print/print preview
it cuts off half of the footer. How do I fix this where I can print to the
edge of the bottom of the paper like I can do in the Header?

It may be the fault of your printer... Not all printers can print to the
edge of the page. Even those which can aren't able to do so on all 4 edges
(especially so if not printing to photo paper) - a minimum margin is
required for feeding the paper through the printer. So first thing to check
is your printer's user guide to see if that's the case.
