Footer on last page & mailmerge

We have Mailmerge documents that we need to have a footer which prints on the
last page only; We can use an IF conditional field using the number of pages
on regular documents, but if we use the conditional statement in a Merge
document, the footer is gone once the Merge is complete. Is there a way to
do this in a Mailmerge document?

Perhaps you could use the hidden bookmark of "\page", to go to the bottom of
the merged document, and turn the last page into its own section (by
inserting a section page break at the beginning of the last page). Then,
add a footer for that section.
