Footer issues in PowerPoint 2003 Template

Hello,

I created a PowerPoint template (.pot) and in that template I applied the
footer that I want to see on Every slide.

When I applied that template to other files, the footer does not carry over.
Is this the default in PowerPoint? I thought that whatever I applied in the
Master would apply to every file that had the template.

Any Help Would be greatly appreciated.

You might need to add the footer in your master as template footer is not
passed.

I'm sorry I dont understand your answer.

In the Template file I went to Master, Slide Master and then I went to View
Header and Footer. I typed in the Footer box the footer I want to see. I
saved the file as a template (.pot) and when I apply that template to other
files the footer does not show.

Try putting the cursor where it says <footer> on the Master and type in the
footer. See if that works.

I am sorry I meant to say powerpoint footer wont pass from design templates
to the presentation. It just deal with the design settings. In your current
presentation, you can set the footer in the master slide, not from design
template.
