fonts:different from sample.

I downloaded a free font (Leftist Mono Serif, True Type) and istalled it on
my PC, but when I try to use it (I've tried Word and Wordpad) it looks
completely different from the sample (when I open the font file that's in the
Fonts folder).

I've tried to install the font again, and to download it from another
website, but it doesn't work.

Can anyone help me??? Please???

(sorry about my poor English)

look at the font in "Character Map" located in
Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools
and see how the font shows up here, this is what your supposed to get
anywhere else (word, wordpad, etc).
make sure you're looking at the right font!

if not then the sample and the actual download don't match.
