Font Problem

Help!. I think I have a problem with my fonts or display, I cant tell.

This is the problem. I have 2 laptops, one a Fujitsu C 6659 and a Compaq 720. I bought my Fujitsu earlier. The problem is when I display my Fujitsu in 1024 x 786 resolution, the fonts look blurred compared to when I max the resolution at 1400 x 1050. In the max resolution the font is crisp and beautiful. I dont understand whats wrong. When I run my Compaq at the 1024 x 786 setting (which is the highest resolution), it looks beautiful.

Can anyone help me? Thank You all.

Chadbing,
If you read up on your machines, you will see that they have
"recommended"
settings for screen resolutions... I ran into this with a new Dell Laptop
awhile
back... We changed the res to a lower one and it did in fact mess up the
sharpness... Went back to the recommended setting and all is well.. I think
it is the nature of the beast. I am not sure of any fixes for it either.
In Dell's
literature they mention that any res other than recommended will produce
less quality viewing.
Hope this helps, but you might also check with the manufacturer of your
units..
