Font colors change in email reply

For some reason, when I reply to mail messages in Outlook 2003, using Word
2003 as the mail editor, the font color changes. Any idea why?

I know, bad form to reply to my own post - but I solved the issue on my own.

Oops.

Since I was using Microsoft Word 2003 as my e-mail editor, I went in and
checked more deeply into the settings.

I found the following path:

Tools>Options>General(e-mail options button at the bottom)>Personal Stationery

On that screen, there's a checkbox for picking a different color for each
reply. I simply unchecked the box, and all is well.
