folders incoming email messages

I have an aol email account which is imap. I want to use my Outlook 2003 .
How can i make folders for my incoming email messages . i was able to do this
outlook express but i had a pop email account. i get so much email that it
would be easier if i had individual folders for incoming mail.

It sounds like you are describing "Identity" in OE, and "Profiles" in O2003.
You can set up individual accounts for mail in either one.

If you 'map' the IMAP server into O2003, you will need to sync the folders
in order to manage both sides.

current IMAP account is in Outlook Express, just set up an IMAP account in
Outlook the same way.

thanks for the reply but it is not working. i know how to set up my
aol email account to open up in Outlook and i know that i can make a
new folder from file but what i want to do is have incoming email to
go the the folders that i choose ~ do i need to create a rule for
this action?
Yes.

Where do i place the folder? Under personal folders?

You can put it anywhere you'd like in any data store you have. "Personal
Folders" is as good a place as any.
