Folder won't share with 1 name but will with any other

2003 Server
XP Workstation
2000 Workstation

Share folder named Data as Data everyone can see the folder in Network
Neighbourhood. Only XP can access files or folders contained within. 2000
machines get "The Network Path was not found."

Share folder data with share name data2 everyone has access.

Un share, reshare no change.

Ideas?

After 24hrs it magically started working. Must have been a time out on the
share or share name.
