Folder view doesn't stay

I like to display my folder contents as Icons, by default. But every once in
a while, the view snaps to Thumbnails without warning. This happens no
matter how many times I go to Folders --> View --> Apply to All Folders!

Is there any way to fix this?

Hi

View settings are limited to 400. Try the following link to increase those
settings to 8000:

XP only remembers 400 folder views by default. To have it remember more:



First download and install the fix to make xp “remember” more than 8000
folders.

Then, in explorer, set your view as you like and go to: tools, folder
options, view tab, apply to all folders.
Also make sure to check: remember each folder's view settings.

Where's the Registry entry for that value?

Download it from Kellys corner and instead of installing it open it and you'll
find the registry point for it.
