Folder redirection

OK, I am not sure what I did wrong, but in GP I set up
Folder redirection. For my Documents, I set it up as
follws:
\\Servername\Users Desktops$\%username%
and for desktop, I did:
\\Servername\Users Desktops$\%username%

I figured they would show up as seperate items

What it did was when I (Thank goodness that I only tested
it on myself) when I logged back in, it put the contents
of "My Documents" on my desktop.

How do I need to set it so it works right?

What you actually do here is to mess them together as you have noticed :)
Make sure you understand how Group Policy Folder Redirection works. You
should set it up as follow

Redirect My Document
\\server\Users Documents$\%username%
Redirect Desktop
\\server\Users Desktops$\%username%

I'm always redirection My Documents to users Home folders to my customers.
See Folder Redirection Section in Understanding Group Policy paper.

I hope that helps, have nice night!

Ok, so I have the desktop and documents in separate folders.
So now what happens, instead of copying my stuff to the new folders, it just
wiped them out.
My desktop was blank and my documents were empty.

Good thing I still had my Profile on the server.
