Folder Redirection .

We have the MyDocuments folder redirected to a server where they can
be backed up / accessed from any machine etc etc. However, we would
like it so that when a user in the IT dept. logs onto their own
machine, the MyDocs is redirected, but it's not redirected if they log
onto a server. How is this possible?

I'm guessing that they are under another group to access
the servers. such as domainadmin/user. and they are
probably under standarduser/user. So all you need to do
is set a group policy for the standard users, and edit
your folder redirection under there, leave folder
redirection off under the domainamin (or whatever OTHER
group they are a member of).

if by some chance they're not a part of another users
group, you should be able to set a group policy on the
computers, and make your servers part of that group
policy, restricting folder redirection.

either way should be a piece of cake
