Folder Redirection stops if users not local admins

All,

I'm having a problem removing users from the local admins
group on their XP Pro desktops - if I do, they can't load
their roaming profiles & folder redirection will not
work. This is on a very generic, 40 node Win2k3 domain &
folder redirection is the only policy setting in the
default domain GPO.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When removed from the local Admin group they get these
errors:

What comes to mind is that the user doesn't have registry permissions to
update the profile information.

Are these mandatory profiles? If so then the profile needs to be created as
documented in the following article:
