Folder redirection Policy not working in Win2003 Server GP

I've set the group policy for folder redirectin of My Docs
to a valid UNC path; but it does not map to my user shares.

It still maps to the default C: local My Docs folder?
The clients are Windows XP Pro.

Anybody encounter this?

Do I have to wait a certain number of hours for this policty to refresh?

To force a refresh, you can use the gpupdate command from Windows XP
(Windows 2000 users should use "secedit /refreshpolicy" instread).

Also, take a look in the event log after running this command. Errors with
My Documents redirections are logged very well. Last time I had MyDocs
failing to redirect, the issue was that the machine was not registered in
DNS properly.

Hi,

I don't have any error message concerning group policy in my logs.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Links to Folder Direction problems
in group policy? It's still not working.

Thanks,

In which case, take a look at the gpresult command to see if the policy is
actually coming through.

Yes... this should work

Do the users have the correct rights to the share ? I
use the path \\server\users$\%username% so that the user
actually has rights to his folder only.
