folder redirection issue

Hello-

I recently changed our group policy and moved the folder redirection
from one server to another : \\server1\home ->
\\server2\home\corporate\documents ,etc. Most of the workstations have
seen the change, however the XP machines
seem to be jumping back and forth between the old location and the new
one (I right click a users' my documents to check
the path). I'm thinking there is some bizarre issue with the group
policy settings not sticking.
We have 3 AD servers, one is offsite.

Any suggestions appreciated..

I have had the 'same' problem,
I have had a DFS share that I had to take for the home/profile share,
The path was first IP:home, and IP:profile,
and then
I went to a DFS share and the path switched between the ip, and DFS share,
and the path would go away, and the home path would return to local c:\doc...

deleted the network nethood directory, and reseted the user ownership on the
home and profile folder, and it turned out that the rights on the home and
profile folders were not ONLY for the user/SYSTEM, but the Administrator was
the owner of the folder home and profile. I changed this with a ownership
script that gave the %USERNAME% the ownership of the two folders and
everything has worked ever since...
