Folder Permission to a group

Erich

Is it possible to give a distribution group permission to
the Calendar folder or do I have to use a global or
universal group? I always get "The modified permissions
could not be saved. The client operation failed."
I'm using Outlook 2002 - Exchange 2000.

Are you trying to grant permissions for your personal
caledar or a public calendar? If personal, do you know if
your account is configured for client delivery/storage or
is it maintained on the Exchange server?

see "OL2002: How to Open Someone Else's Calendar or Other
Folder" in the KB. The important thing here is that the
following criteria be met: (1)You must use Microsoft
Exchange Server as your e-mail service (you are), (2)The
shared folder must be stored in the Exchange Server mailbox
(?), and The shared folder must have access permissions
assigned.

I'm trying to grant permissions on my personal calendar
which is maintained on the Exchange server.
