Folder Options Applet

Does anyone know how to secure the Folder Options Applet in the control panel. I have not found a way prevent unauthorized users from accessing and changing the options. I have tried to turn off the icon using Group policy, but can not find the file in System32 folder. Does it have a .cpl extension like the other applets in the Control Panel. The other applet file appear to be in system32 folder and can be easily identified by doubleclicking on them. But, Folder Options is not to be found. Thanks, Cyberwood

Group Policies only exist in XP Pro, and in a non-domain environment apply to all users. The file to run is GPEDIT.MSC.

For XP Home, or Pro, where you want to apply restrictions on a per user basis, see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Windows XP Security Console.
